About Chef

We are happy to introduce the head chef of The Roastery kitchen, Konstantin Sirota.

Kostya is only 29 years old and he has already spent 13 years on the kitchen. Having started his career as a cleaner-dishwasher in Zatoka, Kostya managed to work in many places, among which are well-known Lou Lou, Bernardazzi and Kadorr Restaurant. Kostya is proud of each job experience, because now he can use accumulated professional skills on The Roastery kitchen.

Kostya considers systematization of kitchen processes as his main advantage. “In culinary directions I respect world classics combined with modern techniques and local products. For example, my favorite borscht, a traditional Ukrainian dish, will be in demand in any restaurant, and will have a different taste everywhere.”

Kostya believes that cooking is an art and he shares this ideology with the team. Together they watch broadcasts of important world gastronomical events, learn food trends, hold briefings and support each other with any initiatives.

Kostya also never misses an opportunity to introduce culinary discoveries and news to the guests. He is constantly learning from the industry professionals and brings the best ideas to life here at The Roastery.  “I want everyone to enjoy the dish: the guest who tastes it and the person who cooks it. It is the process that embodies synergy and inspiration.”
